One of the MOCHA External Advisory Board members, Professor Neal Halfon from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Center for Healthier Children, Families and Communities, recently visited Imperial College London. During this time, he met with some MOCHA project members, including Dr Paul Kocken who is leading the appraisal work package of the project, Professor Mitch Blair, Professor Michael Rigby, Christine Chow and Dr Denise Alexander to discuss some of the very early MOCHA conclusions, directions of the project and to give a global perspective to our work.
Professor Halfon is an expert in child health service design, and in this role, his perspective is potentially extremely valuable to the MOCHA project. He joined the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in London to present a webinar on the challenges to child health in America.
