We have had an incredibly busy start to 2018; with an excellent working meeting held in Leiden, the Netherlands, and a great deal of discussion of how we continue to analyse MOCHA evidence in the final year of the project.
In addition, Associate Professor Maria Brenner from Trinity College Dublin attended the 8th Annual Nursing Research Conference in Dublin, where she presented her paper: A vision of care for children with complex needs: a European perspective – based on the MOCHA research; other MOCHA papers included Social Care needs of children with acquired brain injury and their family: an integrative review by McHugh et al., and a poster presentation about the Mechanisms supporting preventive screening, developmental assessments and referral of children with intractable epilepsy across Europe by O’Shea et al.
Professor Anne Clancy presented her work on Nurses’ preparedness to deliver care to children with complex care needs in Europe at the European Federation of Nurse Educators (FINE) conference on the 21st-23rd February in Malta.
